For some 20 years now Moira has been that
girl with the big smile on Australian television.
In the mid 80’s she brought kids their weekend dose
of cartoons & comedy on “The Harry & Ralph Show”,
also compering & producing for a year “Moira’s
Morning” 5 days a week.
In the late 80’s she joined Simon Townsend’s team
as a “WonderWorld” reporter, traveling the world
showing us sunnier side of life.
For the last 12 years, she’s been the queen of home
shopping on Bert Newton’s “Good Morning Australia”.
Moira’s still bringing us the products and the information,
now on TVSN – pay tv’s home shopping channel
In between all that Moira has made guest appearances on Rove
Live, Shaun Macallef, Big Brother and numerous radio shows.
She’s also built up a production business – “Ideas
That Work”, creating corporate & training programmes
on video & DVD, produced TV programmes, infomercials &
commercials. (see Production – on this website)
A proud ambassador of the Variety Club, Moira has MCed their
Sydney Children’s Christmas Party for the last 6 years
– a massive event for 5,000 kids with special needs
held at the Darling Harbour Exhibition Centre.
Keeping fit is a high priority, Moira tries to do something
active 5 days a week - be it surfing, swimming laps or running,
more often than not in the company of her 13 year son, Liam.
She plays a little piano & flute, is addicted to Scrabble
and is notoriously bad at karaoke.
